Congratulations to our Varsity Girls Volleyball team for clinching the 2013 West Valley League Title Tuesday night with their 3-0 victory over the vistiting Mustangs of Pioneer High School. The two teams entered the contest with only a game difference between first (Del Mar) and second (Pioneer) place.

The Lady Dons had a little added motivaiton as it was Senior Night as well. The wanted to ensure Seniors Azra Rocevic and Amyrani Esteban had a night to remember. And a night to remember it was.

Our gals were firing on all cylinders as they kept rallies alive through hustle and determination. We built upon our lead with solid blocks up front combined with overpowering serves. It was an overall impressive night by all.

League play will wrap up Thursday night as the Lady Dons travel to Overfelt High School. CCS seedings will be decided on Sunday afternoon. That will determine who we will face in the CCS playoffs on Wednesday. All reports coming out of the scouting committee suggest that we will be hosting on Wednesday night in the opening round. Keep our fingers crossed.
